ChildBe LLC ("ChildBe") takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.

This policy covers how ChildBe treats personal information or health records that ChildBe collects and receives. Personal information is information about an identifiable individual, like your name, e-mail address, or phone number and that is not otherwise publicly available. A personal health record is an electronic record of identifiable health information of an individual that can be drawn from multiple sources and that is managed, shared, and controlled by or primarily for such individual. This privacy policy only applies to ChildBe. This policy does not apply to the practices of individuals and companies that ChildBe does not own or control, or to people that ChildBe does not employ or manage.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

ChildBe collects personal information when you register to use ChildBe products and services, when you use ChildBe products or services, when you submit personal information to ChildBe web pages, and when you visit ChildBe web pages. ChildBe may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.

When you register we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, and credit card billing address. Once you register with ChildBe and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

ChildBe collects information about your interactions and transactions with us, including information about your use of products and services that we offer.

ChildBe may automatically receive and record information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, ChildBe cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. ChildBe may log certain information that your browser sends us, and we may collect information about the pages you view within our sites and other actions you take while visiting us. ChildBe does not ask a child under age 13 for any personal information as a condition of participation.. Instead, only parents or legal guardians may give their children access to the ChildBe web site. If your child is under the age of 13, please be aware that the Internet in general contains data and information that may not be suitable for viewing by such a child. You have sole responsibility for what your child accesses and what information that child shares on ChildBe's web sites. ChildBe will not be held responsible for any damages caused to or by children who access ChildBe's web sites.

ChildBe does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you have requested, when we have your permission or authorization, or under the following circumstances:

We provide information to trusted companies or individuals who work on behalf of or with ChildBe under confidentiality or business associate agreements. These companies and individuals may use your personal information to help ChildBe communicate with you and ensure our web pages remain operational. When you register for a ChildBe account, your registration information and other data will be transmitted to the United States and/or other countries for processing and storage by ChildBe and its affiliates. This Privacy Policy does not apply to our access to or handling of this information; the conditions regarding the handling and processing of that data is covered by our Terms of Use and any other agreements between you and ChildBe.

Certain interactions or transactions may involve you calling us or us calling you. They may also involve online chats or other electronic communications. Please be aware that it is ChildBe's general practice to monitor and in some cases record such interactions for staff training or quality assurance purposes or to retain evidence of a particular transaction or interaction.

To the extent you have granted permission or authorization to share or disclose personal information, you may revoke or revise such permission or authorization at any time.

USE OF INFORMATION IN THE SOCIAL COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

ChildBe may provide social computing tools on some of its web sites to enable online sharing and collaboration among members who have registered to use them. These include forums, wikis, blogs and other social media platforms.

Certain information that you provide to ChildBe may be made available to other participants as part of your profile, but such information will be subject to and protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Any content that you post or otherwise input, such as pictures, information, opinions, or any other type of personal information that you make available to other participants on these social platforms, is not subject to this Privacy Policy. Rather, such content is subject to the Terms of Use.

ChildBe may also use or share your information to protect the rights or property of ChildBe and our clients and business partners when we have reasonable grounds to believe that such rights or property have been or could be affected. In addition, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, or the rights of others, or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our web sites or on ChildBe.

YOUR ABILITY TO EDIT AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND PREFERENCES

You can amend or edit your ChildBe account information any time that you feel the personal information maintained by ChildBe about you is incorrect. This request must be in writing. The completed amendment request will be incorporated with the other personal information about you maintained by ChildBe.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to ChildBe services, such as service announcements, administrative messages and other communications without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. However, for certain communications, you may be given the option to opt out of receiving them.

You can delete your ChildBe account by contacting the website administrator or by visiting our account deletion page. Certain information might remain in our archived records after your account has been deleted. However, most if not all of the information you enter on ChildBe's site may be permanently and irretrievably deleted if you delete your account. It is your sole obligation to request a copy of your information or to make a copy of your information before deleting your account.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

We limit access to personal information about you to individuals who we believe reasonably need to access to such personal information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

ChildBe implements reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to help us protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure. For example, we encrypt certain sensitive personal information and require any user of ChildBe's services to have a registered username and password to access ChildBe's systems.

We will retain your registration information, as well as information related to your account, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to request that we no longer use your registration information to provide you services, contact us using the contact information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your registration information, as well as information related to your account, as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

YOUR ACCESS TO INFORMATION

You are entitled to request and receive an electronic copy of your personal information. This request must be submitted in writing. We may impose a fee for your access to personal information that will be limited to our labor costs in responding to your request.

You are entitled to an accounting of all disclosures of your personal information that we have made. This request must be submitted in writing and identify the time period for such disclosures (not to exceed six (6) years). You may receive this information without charge once every 12 months; we will notify you of the cost to received this information if you request such information more than once in 12 months.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

ChildBe may update this policy. We may notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your ChildBe account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
